Shepherd and White are pleased to announce a sale has been exchanged for a parcel of land in Barlestone.
A Leicestershire village has revealed plans for 64 new homes. Maruti Developments Ltd has submitted the proposal to Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council for land behind Barlestone Garage on Newbold Road, Barlestone.
In order to provide access to the development, an existing house - 68 Newbold Road - would be demolished.
Both the land sale and the access point purchase were completed by Kevan Shepherd. As a result of complex planning issues, both transactions took several years to complete despite recent economic uncertainty and rising interest rates. It is encouraging to see developers continue to show confidence in the Midlands region, with sites like these attracting a great deal of interest when they are offered to the market.
